On the crest of a mountain in the beautiful Cobbly Nob Community, enjoy some of the best views in the Great Smoky Mountains. "The Place to Be" will provide your group with comfort, peace, and breath taking views. The large multilevel deck allows your group to spread out to take in the scenery, or to join together for a meal under the charming string lights. You can soak in the luxurious hot tub while enjoying the majesty of the mountains. The well-appointment kitchen lends to fabulous home cooked meals, or grill those fish you caught on the brand new gas grill. The living space is furnished with comfortable pieces to maintain the cabin's charm and add a modern touch to this classic space. Two bedrooms with king beds both host french doors leading to the upper tiers of the outdoor deck. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun rise over the mountains. One king bedroom has a dedicated work space with stunning views. A bonus room off the master bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed. The bunk room offers toys, books, and a limited edition Nintendo and Sega Genesis to entertain your children (or you! with all your favorite original games on sleek mini units with original controllers). We also have a barrel arcade game with 60 original arcade games. Two newly renovated bathrooms boast luxurious showers, one with three heads including rain shower. New washer and dryer units are in the home for your use. The Cobbly Nob community offers complimentary access to one heated pool, two other outdoor pools (Memorial Day to Labor Day), pickleball courts, and paid access to Bent Creek Golf Course (located in Cobbly Nob). Cobbly Nob has its own security as well. This cabin is located in East Gatlinburg- removed enough from the tourist activities to be peaceful, but only a quick drive to all the fun amenities Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer. "The Place to Be" has all your group needs for a comfortable and amazing stay in the Great Smoky Mountains! *When travelling in the Smoky Mountains during the winter, it is always prudent to purchase travel insurance.* Please do so for peace of mind. It is VERY rarely needed until it is needed.

Other Details to Note

The third bedroom (bunk bed room) is connected to the master bedroom. There is an exterior door in the third bedroom with a small child proof hook lock high up on the door for safety purposes.

We had an absolutely incredible stay! From the very beginning, the host’s communication was outstanding—prompt, clear, and extremely helpful. The Airbnb was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had truly spectacular mountain views that made every moment feel special. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the perfect mountain view—it was such a peaceful and memorable experience. The walk-in showers were also a wonderful touch and added a little extra comfort and luxury to our stay. This was our first trip traveling with our toddler, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to create such meaningful core memories as a family. The home felt warm and welcoming, and we really appreciated the variety of games available, which made family time even more fun. We even ran into a neighbor during a stroll who was incredibly friendly, which added to the inviting atmosphere of the area. Andrew was very responsive and gave clear instructions on how to get to his cabin. He checked in with us Monday before we left to check on the road condition because when we arrived on Friday the temperature in Gatlinburg was 76 degrees and when we left on Monday it was 26 degrees and snowing. I would definitely recommend staying at his house!

We had an amazing stay. The views alone are worth it, absolutely beautiful, especially in the mornings and at sunset. It was peaceful, clean, and exactly what we were hoping for when we booked. The place was well kept, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time. You can tell the hosts care about the experience. It felt private but still close enough to everything we wanted to do. It was everything we hoped for and more. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway with incredible views.

This home is truly “the place to be.” We had such a great time staying here. The location was beautiful and close to many of the places we wanted to visit, with stunning scenic views the entire drive in. It even snowed during our trip, which made everything feel like a magical winter wonderland. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The kids absolutely loved it, and we felt right at home the whole time. The host was very kind, communicated quickly, and kept us updated with anything we needed to know. Overall, this was an amazing stay, and we would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Great cabin with amazing views. Close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Andrew was a wonderful host with outstanding communication. The exterior deck has a very nice BBQ and a jacuzzi. Perfect getaway cabin in the Smokey Mountains.
